¿Usted quién se cree que es porque vaya vestido de esa manera? Ataviado de reproches que intentan marcar la diferencia ante el resto de mortales. Sí, usted se cree muy fuerte por lucir tan curioso aspecto, pero debe recordar que a pesar de haber vaciado una parte de su cuenta corriente, lo que le cubre no es más que un trozo de tela trabajado por expertas manos mecánicas.

Los trapos tratan de expresar de forma banal nuestra posición o condición social, nuestro interior. Con ellos engañamos fácilmente a cualquiera que nos crucemos por la calle o incluso a nuestros allegados. El hábito no hace al monje y hoy en día disfrazarse es más habitual que nunca. No me refiero a tendencias o extravaganacias, sino más bien a intentar representar eso que queremos ser. ¿Estamos conformes con lo que somos? Insisto, en las ciudades el miedo nos hace buscar la diferencia o el camuflaje. Individualmente existen conceptos acerca de lo que significa "vestir bien". Por supuesto, hay a quien no le importa lo que lleva puesto. ¿Acaso se importa poco él mismo? ¿Dejó la coquetería en el cajón? La sencillez puede ser una muestra de equilibrio, de "ese peldaño superior" o sencillamente no es más que la manifestación de su simpleza. Ocurre exactamente lo mismo con la sobrecarga ornamental. Lo mismo.

Resulta curioso que tapar nuestra desnudez nos haga ser quien somos. Todos los cuerpos son diferentes, aunque más o menos apreciamos características similares en todos nosotros. Pero desde hace demasiado tiempo la tela nos distingue de nuestros semejantes y ha generado arte, negocio, felicidad y personalidades.

Are We satisfied with what We are? I insist, in the cities fear takes us to look for difference or camouflage. Individually there are concepts about what is to "dress well". It's curious that covering our nudity makes us being what We are. All the bodies are diverse although We can more or less see similar characteristics in each one of us. But from too much long time ago, a fabric differenciate ourselves between our fellow men and have generated art, bussiness, happiness and personalities.
